Be The Change - Awareness Campaign

Warrington Wolves Community Foundation

The ‘Be The Change’ campaign, featuring rugby legend Sam Burgess and comedian, presenter and physical disability rugby player Adam Hills, explores how in order for our community to truly prosper, we must not just witness the change, but we must be the change.

In this moving and informative multi-media campaign, we uncover how The Warrington Wolves Community Foundation work tirelessly day in, day out to not only bring the community together and improve people’s lives but in fact save people’s lives.

Objective

The Warrington Wolves Community Foundation needed to raise awareness as well as attract new investment. They wanted to showcase their various sectors, connect with the community, and highlight the town's DNA and heritage.

Execution

Continuum Films created an all encompassing campaign that inspired viewers to not just wait for change, but be a part of the change. The campaign consists of a hero film, 3 documentaries, trailers, digital media and social assets.

Results

  • 2 day release event at Warrington Cineworld - viewed by 300+ in-person audience members

  • 3 new sponsorships secured in 3 weeks from release

  • 15+ new patrons since release

  • 135k+ views across all social platforms

  • So far an estimated £16k+ raised in funding directly attributed to the campaign

Social Assets

To increase traction and give the campaign more longevity we created a total of 8 social assets consisting of both trailers and tailor made cutdowns.

Within 10 days of the campaign release between all social assets we gained over 138,000 views and counting.

In order to tell the real, human stories of the people who receive aid and help from the Warrington Wolves Community Foundation, we created a series of 3 short documentaries telling their stories. Elks, the captain of the Physical Disability Rugby League team, Madge, a resident at a local care home, and Poppy, a member of the Disability Drama and Dance group 'Wolfprint', all share their stories on how being involved with the foundation has massively helped them overcome their unique struggles across life and within the community.
