'For The People' is the launch film for the first ever Halo Festival, created to bring the spirit of Suffolk’s communities to life and set the tone for the event. Told through the perspective of a local musician, it highlights how the festival aims to connect diverse groups, celebrate creativity, and build a shared sense of belonging.

With no existing festival footage to draw from, the challenge was to evoke the feeling of a music festival before it had ever happened. We leaned into imagination as the core device. Across Suffolk, people from different backgrounds picture what Halo Festival could become, each adding their own hopes and visions. By capturing these individuals in their everyday environments, from coastal spots to village centres and local creative spaces, the film pieces together a collective portrait of anticipation and community pride.

At its heart, the film reinforces a simple idea: this is a festival made for the people. By grounding the story in real locals and real places, For The People positions Halo Festival as an accessible, community-built celebration of Suffolk’s identity and future.
